TEATER NEUF INTERNATIONAL PROUDLY PRESENTS:

She Stoops to Conquer, by Oliver Goldsmith, directed by Tenaya Jorgensen! 

Mr. Harcastle intends his forthright daughter, Kate, to marry the awkward yet handsome Mr. Marlow. Mrs. Hardcastle desires her unwilling son, Tony, wed Constance, who is interested only in Mr. Hastings. Tony wants freedom, and Kate wants a man with a little confidence. What happens when their scheming leads Mr. Marlow to believe the Hardcastle house is an Inn and Kate, a barmaid?

Set in the 18th century, She Stoops to Conquer is a charming comedy of misunderstandings, of misdirection, of intrigue – with a happy ending.

June 9^th at 14.00 (doors open at 13:45).   

Enjoy the sun and some snacks and a refreshing beverage! If weather permits, performances will be held outside in the amphitheatre (circled in blue) behind the Norwegian Academy of Music (Norges Musikkhøgskole), also next to Chateau Neuf. If it rains, performances will be held indoors in Teaterscenen at Chateau Neuf. Please check back here on performance date to confirm which space we will be in!

Show time is approximately 2 hours, not including a 15-minute intermission. Performances are in English.
